“ Last week I had the privilege of spending three days at Golf Alcanada with the Trinifold team to watch the conclusion of the Challenge Tour qualifier and then play a bucket list round myself one afternoon (more about that later).
It was my first time meeting ten of the Trinifold professionals and watching them play. Bar none the players were an absolute delight, taking time to speak to us, thanking us for investing and coming to watch them, a really great bunch of lads and a credit to the Trinifold team. The golf was superb, with a lot on the line (the top four getting 6 Challenge Tour starts each) you could feel the pressure but we still witnessed some amazing golf in very tricky (the wind got up to 30mph) conditions.
The course is superb and I got to play it on Wednesday afternoon with Sam Bairstow who is currently playing on the DP tour and sitting in 6th position after a recent brilliant 3rd place finish in Singapore. To play with Sam was a bucket list tick for me. An incredibly nice guy, very humble and modest and as for his golf, well two drives over 400 yards and a score of -3 under par from the tips (while having to deal with me hacking my way around) probably tells you enough.
Thank you Jimmy and team for arranging this for me and good luck Sam for Japan and China,
Over the course of the three days I had the pleasure of meeting two other shareholders (John Gulliver (who also played the round with Sam) and Keith Wilson) and David Barrow, who was supporting his son Callan who won the event.
We were looked after superbly by Jimmy, Luke, Neil and Joe and I can honestly say it was the best golf experience I have ever had. It absolutely confirmed my conviction that investing in Trinifold and supporting the young talent is a great thing to do and to get a round of golf with a DP World Tour player on top, well, what more can I say. ”
” Thank you, thank you, thank you Team Trinifold, an experience I will never forget. “
